The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.
December 25th, 2006. I was sixteen. Everyone wore masks, they didn't like having to stare at the monster beneath whenever they looked in the mirror. Most of my time was spent writing and learning how to operate my dad's Minolta x700. Digital art slowly took over traditional mediums. I was never really one for socializing, so there were many nights spent with Dr. Pepper and pumpkin seeds while I designed the night away.
The art in this gallery is a mix of favorites and imagery similar to the content of the paragraphs.

Celebrate deviantART's 13th Birthday!
On the day of your birth, you were likely surrounded by those who loved you, who would lead you through the rough first scary years of life, and who would stand by as you grew into a capable person. As time passed, others may have drifted into your life, and even if you didn't know it, they also nurtured and cared for you in much the same way, helping to shape the person you would become.
When a community like deviantART is born, the same common thread binds its originators and founding members together. Over the years, more and more creative beings drift into its life and strengthen its core every single day, resulting in an exponentially in

Final Thoughts from Clive Barker
Odyssey. I can think of no better word to describe the journey that took place these past few months.
With the prologue, “They’re Mad, They Are,” I began work on a vessel that was not yet ready for sea. And on that holed ship, together we embarked over open waters towards an unknown destination.
What I then witnessed both touched and humbled me. You, the mighty crew of the HMS Odyssey, simultaneously crafted her and plotted her voyage with artistry and grace. No small feat.

Last month when I did my original contest (and first dA contest ever!), I was also hoping it would inspire people to take some time to look around, see others that are just like them and could benefit from a little kindness. I was happy to see so much generosity abound, even if some may think they were "little".
I say "A little goes a long way!"
So, as promised, I dare you AGAIN!!!!.....to do one random act of kindness for a complete stranger!

A word of two about drawing wolf's eyes :)
Hello dear Members,
This is my first journal entry for the Group, so first of all: howdy to all :)
I wanted to do something that could help you a little with drawing wolves. So I will begin with something I am familiar with in drawing - the eyes. Most popular colour is yellowish-green or greenish-yellow which can look differenty in various light's conditions. Great example of that colour is Chetan from WolfPark:
